We are the G.I.F.T. Team (Growing In Faith Together)
Welcome to our G.I.F.T. Team Pages.
The G.I.F.T. Team are responsible for supporting the Catholic life of St Mary’s, leading prayer and worship and helping the teachers, developing prayer areas of school, taking care of other pupils, helping parents when they are in school, and working with Father Tadhg to support the Sacramental Programme for our Year 3 children. This year, some of our GIFT team also serve in our local parish as altar servers. This, alongside the charity work they participate in, shows their determination to live out the Gospel Values as well as leading our school in prayer.

GIFT Team Members Leading Morning Rosary
Our GIFT team lead our school in Rosary sessions before school during October and May. These are very well attended by our pupils. In addition, children in each class during October and May are encouraged by the GIFT team to take home a Rosary pack and diary and write thoughts / prayers in.
Every year, we celebrate our new GIFT team and their commissioning. Here they are receiving a blessing from Father Tadhg. We continue throughout the year to pray for our GIFT team and their formation of faith.
Marian Walk 2023
Our school building was designed around Mary’s life. Our GIFT team produced a video and took Year Six on a walk around school to reflect on her life.
Poppy Appeal 2023
Our GIFT team are responsible for collecting money for the Poppy Appeal.
