The school council are a group of students who are elected to represent the views of all pupils and discuss ways to improve our school.

At the beginning of the Autumn Term children from Years 3 – 6 were invited to apply for the position of school council members.

Many children applied and three candidates were selected from each class. The selected children had the opportunity  to canvas and write speeches to persuade their class mates to vote for them.

On Thursday 13th September all pupils in KS2 used the ballot boxes and voting slips to make their vote. It was a very serious affair!

The Council Members were announced on Friday 14th September and have all accepted their posts.

We look forward to an exciting year, helping to change and move our school forward.
